Come and join Jay in this series of unique photography tours and photography workshops based in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.  Learn landscape photography essentials, waterfall photography and long exposure photography, astrophotography and nightscape photography.  Specifically for photographers wanting to capture images of this beautiful and superlative region, we have tours that will take you to photograph lesser travelled areas, finding compositions that will give you some unique and stunning photographs.

With several tours on offer with both fixed and variable dates, you can book your own tour to fit your own itinerary, and regardless of the number of days you book, there are plenty of locations for us to explore and capture while you visit.

Tours are suited to Australian and Overseas visitors, and photographers at all levels, beginners to seasoned pros, and can be booked as individuals, couples or groups of 3 or 4 based on your needs.

Magical Mountains Photography Tour

Join Jay on this immersive photography tour introducing you to the captivating beauty of Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area.

From AUD $350 per day

Bookable up to 4 Days

All transport included. Pickup and dropoff at our nearest railway station or your hotel/accommodation

Small groups of 1 to 3 people

  • Photograph the renowned Blue Mountains Valleys from any number of accessible lookouts
  • Get up close and personal to some of the Blue Mountains best known waterfalls
  • Drop into a dry and accessible slot canyon to capture remarkable sunbeams.
  • Explore the galaxy and stars with some spellbinding clear night skies
  • All Transport in our Air conditioned 4WD

For Single Day Tours, these will commence collecting you from your accommodation before sunrise.  We can also collect you from Katoomba railway station, however with the early start, it is recommended you stay in Katoomba the previous night. If arriving by train we will be at Katoomba railway station to meet you on arrival. Tours will conclude on the final day after sunset depending in the time of year.

The Wonder of Waterfalls Photography Tour

Join Jay on this exciting Photography Tour exploring the Wonder of Waterfalls in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area where we guide you to some sublime locations and tutor you on the photography techniques that will capture the best long exposure images of flowing water among the lush green mosses and ferns our waterfalls are renowned for.

Bookable up to 4 days with Single Day tours available

All transport included. Pickup and dropoff at our nearest railway station or your hotel/accommodation

Small groups of 1 to 3 people

  • Get up close and personal to some of the Blue Mountains best known waterfalls
  • Capture the beauty of some lesser known waterfalls in the area
  • Learn Long Exposure techniques for capturing flowing water
  • Learn the tricks to working with poor light and moving flora

If arriving by train we will be at Katoomba railway station to meet you on arrival. For Single Day Tours, these will commence at 7:30AM. For multi-day bookings, we will discuss an appropriate start/finish time for each day of your tour depending on time of year and optional photography opportunities such as sunrise or sunset. Tours will conclude on the final day at approximately 6:30PM depending on the time of year.

Blue Mountains Astrophotography Workshops
