Learn landscape photography essentials, waterfall photography and long exposure photography, astrophotography and nightscape photography. Specifically for photographers wanting to capture images of this beautiful and superlative region, we have tours that will take you to photograph lesser travelled areas, finding compositions that will give you some unique and stunning photographs.
With several tours on offer with both fixed and variable dates, you can book your own tour to fit your own itinerary, and regardless of the number of days you book, there are plenty of locations for us to explore and capture while you visit.
Tours are suited to Australian and Overseas visitors, and photographers at all levels, beginners to seasoned pros, and can be booked as individuals, couples or groups of 3 or 4 based on your needs.

Wonder of Waterfalls Photography Tour
Our most popular Tour introduces you to the Wonder of Waterfalls in the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains. Book from 1 to 3 days in groups of 1 to 3. This tour will take you across a stunning array of waterfalls where we guide you to some sublime locations and tutor you on the photography techniques that will capture the best long exposure images of flowing water among the lush green mosses and ferns our waterfalls are renowned for.
Magical Mountains Photography Tour
One of our most popular tours, introducing you to the Magical Mountains. Book 1 to 3 days and in groups of 1 to 3 people. This tour guides you across the photography hotspots and many locations only locals know about. Focused on capturing the wide variety of photography the Blue Mountains has to offer capturing Sunrise and sunset across deep valley vistas, and descending into fern and moss lined gullies and rainforests to capture the waterfalls. Not just for photographers, you will also be guided on the natural values of the region introducing you to the flora, fauna, geology and guiding you on the industrial and tourist history. There is no better way to explore the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains.
Landscape Photography Experience
Whether you have never picked up a digital camera, have some experience but are interested in learning Landscape Photography, or if you have your own digital camera and want to learn how to get the best from it, this new AirBnB experience is a short 3 hour course introducing you to Digital Landscape Photography. We meet at a single location in the Blue Mountains to learn the basics about how digital cameras work, learn about exposure, aperture and ISO, learn how to setup your camera, choosing lenses, using tripods, shutter remotes, filters, and how to compose your images. If you don’t have your own gear, we can provide you with a camera and tripod to use during the session, where we will finish capturing a sunset across one of the Blue Mountains best known locations.
Federal Pass Photo Adventure
Join us on an the first of our 2021 Photo Adventures exclusive to the Sony Scene. This series of Bushwalks for Photographers explores some of the most inspiring locations the Blue Mountains has to offer. This Photo Adventure introduces you to the diverse beauty of the Blue Mountains as we traverse the Federal Pass, a literally breath taking Bush Walk into and out of the Jamison Valley taking in the beautiful waterfalls of Fern Bower, the epic rain forest environment that is Leura Forest, traversing the single track of the Dardanelles Pass, exploring the base of Katoomba Falls at Cooks Crossing, ascending the gruelling 951 Furber Stairs, and finish our adventure traversing the Prince Henry Cliff Walk via Katoomba Cascades and the Three Sisters on the way back to our staring point.
Wentworth Pass Photo Adventure
Continuing our 2021 Photo Adventures series exclusive to the Sony Scene. This series of Bushwalks for Photographers explores some of the most inspiring locations the Blue Mountains has to offer. This Photo Adventure takes us deep into the Wentworth Pass, and is the bush walk to do if you are looking for the Blue Mountains best waterfalls all in a single trip. Commencing at the Conservation hut, our walk takes us into the Valley of the Waters with Empress, Sylvia, Lodore and Flat Rock falls to photograph on the way down, then traversing the valley floor along the rainforest surroundings of the Wentworth Pass before meeting the goal of the journey, the base of Wentworth Falls before ascending the Slack Stairs and Grand Staircase to the top. This challenging and literally breath taking Bush Walk into and out of Kedumba is a must do for those looking for a Photo Adventure.

Blue Mountains Astrophotography Workshop
The Blue Mountains is a wonderful location to capture the night sky. This small group Astrophotography Workshop commences with an afternoon of Astrophotography tuition followed by an Astro shoot at various locations throughout the Blue Mountains. This workshop will give you all the knowledge you need to plan, setup and capture the night sky with your camera, taking you through the astronomy you need to know, the equipment you will need, how to set it up, and how to capture the Milky Way, Star Trails, Wide Field Astrophotography, even how to capture the moon, and how to compose your images with distant night sky objects. Our next day Online Post Processing session will the take you through the steps to edit your images, and make those Milky Way shots pop. As a starting point for your Astrophotography, this workshop will leave you with all the tools you need, and weather permitting, some fantastic shots to boot.
