Ideal for all experience levels. This tour takes you to majestic lookouts with sublime sunrise and sunset views. Gets you up close and personal to some of the most stunning waterfalls. Visits a slot canyon to shoot remarkable sunbeams. Exhibits the industrial heritage of the area. And exposes you to some of the darkest skies for some Astro images even so close to Sydney.

Each location has been selected for its photographic potential, leaving you with some epic and memorable images from your trip as well as a deep appreciation for the diverse natural environment of this World Heritage listed area.

You are driven from our Katoomba residence to each location in our 4WD tour vehicle. With your experienced local guide leading you to each location, and expert photography tuition on location to help you get the best out of your camera.  We cover important safety considerations of outdoor and wilderness photography, discuss the best equipment and which settings to choose for various times of day, tutor you on filters and long exposure techniques, and guide you through how composition can dramatically improve your images.  At the end of the tour, we will have an image critique to go through your shots and give you some post processing guidance.

For mulitple day bookings, your accommodation is included with the tour, where you will stay with us at our Katoomba residence.  Importantly, this will be like an AirBnB stayover where we open our home to you to enjoy during the tour.
